Our Festival is powered by volunteers. We're looking for more friendly, reliable people to help across the weekend, and we have a particular need for someone to coordinate our trophies.

An especially important role
We're looking for a Trophy Coordinator.
Our trophies are part of the Festival's history, and keeping track of them takes care and organisation. This role would suit somebody who enjoys practical administration, keeping good records and working with a supportive volunteer team.
Help our awards run smoothly.
We'd love to hear from someone who could take the lead on coordinating our trophies, with help from the Festival committee. The precise arrangements and time commitment can be discussed together.
What you could help with
- Keeping an organised record of Festival trophies and their holders.
- Helping coordinate trophies being returned and prepared for the next Festival.
- Working with the team to organise awards and presentations during Festival weekend.
- Helping maintain records and handover arrangements afterwards.
This is an outline for discussion, not a fixed job description. You don't need to know our trophy system already; the committee can explain how it currently works.

Can you help over Festival weekend?
You don't have to take on a year-round role to make a difference. If you can spare some time during our March Festival, we'd love to talk about where your help might be useful.
Supporting sessions
Help the organising team with practical tasks around classes, check-in, programmes or room arrangements.
Awards and certificates
Give a hand with preparing or organising certificates and trophies when they are needed.
General Festival help
Support set-up, changeovers and other small but important jobs that help the weekend run smoothly.
A few hours could make a real difference. Tell us which day or days you're available, what you'd enjoy doing and whether you have any particular experience or access needs. We'll talk through suitable opportunities.

We work with children and young people, so volunteering arrangements are subject to our Safeguarding Policy and any role-specific checks or guidance.
